Jun Yi
Jun Tango DJ Bio Intrigued by the beauty of the music and intensity of the dance, Jun discovered the world of Argentine Tango when studying at Yale University, and started her DJing journey at Yale Tango Club. Her incessant quest for great tango music led her to invitations of DJing by popular milongas in New York City, the vibrant tango community that nourished her growth and blossoming into a mature dancer and DJ. A gentle and sensitive soul, Jun actively listens to the dance floor and she creates an enchanting music journey that speaks to dancers’ emotions absorbed in a warm embrace, elegant steps, and playful movement. Known for her impeccable delicacy of storytelling, Jun’s music is instrumental to creating some of the most blissful, energized and passionate milongas for the dancers that have heard her.
Jun has shared her music selections at renowned marathons internationally, such as Bal Tout Terrain (Paris, 2023), Krakow Aires Secreto Marathon (July 2022), Santa Maradona Tango Marathon (Napoli, 2022, 2023), Napul'e Tango Festival (Napoli, 2022), Montreal Abrazo Tango Marathon (Canada, 2022, 2019), San Miguel Tango Festival (Mexico 2022, 2023), and events in the US like Gavito Tango Festival (2022), San Diego Tango New Year Festival (2019, 2022), Nor'Easter Tango Marathon (2022), Big Apple Tango Marathon, Queen City Tango Festival, Violetas Tango Entruenco, Atlanta Tango Marathon I & II, Buscandote Houston Tango Marathon, Las Mujeras Tango Marathon, etc., as well as Milongas in Europe, China and Argentina. Currently residing in California, her journey as a tango dancer, DJ, and community-builder continues to grow and expand through her persistent study of tango music and her consistent tango travels to Europe, Argentina and all over North America.

RaFa
Since 2012 he tours Asia and Oceania, United States and Canada, Europe and Middle East offering workshops, private classes and doing DJ for milongas, marathons and Festivals. He also travels in a less regular way to teach in South America, and Africa. His Private classes and DJ pages on Facebook have reviews from Dancers and Organisers from all over the world about his work.
In his work as a DJ, he aims to balance melodic and rhythmical orchestras, instrumental with sung tandas, and normally plays 2 tango tandas and 1 vals tanda, 2 tango tandas and 1 milonga tanda, changing to 3-1-3-1 according to the dance floor. He finds that the dancers are one of the most important elements to DJing, as they are the ones who give feedback to a DJ. Rafael has DJed in Europe, Russia, Brazil, USA and Argentina for more than 10 years and has received very positive feedback from milonga regulars.

Hao Tian
Haotian, a seasoned Argentine Tango DJ with a decade of experience, developed the "Tango Music" mini-program, serving thousands of tango dancers. He excels in building bridges across time and style through music, seamlessly blending modern orchestras' innovative expressions with the passionate emotions of tango's golden age. With an acute sense of the dance floor's energy, his music selection naturally dialogues between classics and contemporary pieces, maintaining a vibrant flow in the milonga.
As a DJ who transitioned from being a dancer, Haotian always prioritizes musicality above all else. Standing behind the console, his eyes rarely linger on the computer; instead, he captures the dancers' breathing rhythms and the graceful sweep of spinning skirts. He cherishes most those spontaneous moments when the music is adjusted instantly in response to the live energy, creating a true co-creation experience.
Haotian believes that dancers, rather than the DJ, control the direction of the music at a milonga. A DJ’s role is merely to materialize the energy of dancers. The best reward for a DJ is not showcasing the coolest music, but bringing happiness to everyone on the dance floor.

SeonMin Lee
SeonMin began her tango DJ career eight years ago and has since become a favorite among milonga organizers across Seoul. She is now one of the most popular DJs at Korea’s hottest tango events, including Tango O Nada and Ocho. She loves witnessing the deep focus dancers bring to the floor and strives to merge energy and technique through her music.
As both a DJ and a dancer, SeonMin is frequently seen at milongas across Europe, Argentina, and around the world, bringing vitality and passion to dancers in every city she visits. Her favorite tango music comes from the Golden Age. We look forward to her debut on the Beijing stage!
